The drawings are produced through a constant manual re-tracing/repetition/re-production of an image that keeps escaping to be completed. The structure remains the same, only the position of the tulip drawing changes, as well as the text incorporated in the image.

The proposed work takes its inspiration from the conflicted history and biogeography of the tulip as a species.
